| I hold my V2 Service Manager Certification; which in the North American vernacular is sometimes referred to as the ITIL(R) Master. Is this the same as the v3 Master Certification? |

With the v3 scheme, the highest level at this time is "Expert”. The "Master” level certification is still in the development stage, and has not been released yet. (as of Jan. 2012)

| What is required for my online exam? |
- Photo Identification (passport, government ID or equivalent).
- Clear desk area with no papers, books or notes.
- A well-working computer with 500 MB of RAM or higher.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection (115kps). A wireless internet connection is not recommended.
- LCS will not be responsible for disconnection issues due to insufficient bandwidth.
- Any webcam with 640x480 video pixel resolution (a laptop camera is acceptable).
- Working speakers connected to the computer.
- A microphone connected to the computer (consider a webcam with a built-in microphone).
- Permission for the proctor to connect to your computer.
- Any of the following web browsers with Adobe Flash Player installed (Flash Player 10 recommended):
PC: Internet Explorer 7 (XP, Vista), Internet Explorer 8 (XP,Vista, 7), Internet Explorer 9 (Vista, 7) or Firefox 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9 (XP, Vista, 7),
Mac: Safari 1.x, 4 and 5
- If a case study is required, you must have a printer that is locate location where the exam is taking place.
- Option, if you would like the scenario booklet printed for your ex must be in the same location where the exam is taking place.

| I failed an exam in 2011 and wish to re-take the exam based upon the materials I studied. Is this still an option? |
| Yes, exams based upon 2007 syllabi must be sat by January 31, 2012. This is a special request and must be managed by emailing exams@loyalistexams.com. Please permit a couple of days notice if you wish to write a paper exam.

| What is the definition of an ‘organization’ pertaining to the 2 certifications, Lifecycle and Capability? |
| An organization is
defined as having evidence of 2 or more persons remunerated
under the same legal company name, or operating entity |

| What are the requirements to achieve ITSM Expert Certification? |

Each
person on the team passed the ITIL® Foundation exam, one of the intermediate
courses, and collectively they possess all of the Capability or Lifecycle
courses. |

| What is the definition of a ‘team’ pertaining to these two certifications? |
| It’s a minimum of 2
members but no maximum number belonging to the same organization. So a team
could be 30 or 2 people. See the first FAQ. The more members you have on your
team, the better your talent balance. |
